Matteo had this collection of portraits created for his partner for Christmas.

This is what Matteo said: "This session was playful & adaptive. Working with a dog isn't easy and we captured some adorable moments." 

This is what his partner said when he received the framed collection: "Oh. My. God. Matteo gave me my Christmas gift tonight and I am speechless 1 actually there's been a lot of joyous squealing. I LOVE the photos!!! This was such an amazing surprise and I can't stop staring at them. Thank you so much.

Mom remembers the family visits to the ranch in BC and when she saw this set she wanted to create images of her children for her parents and grandparents. After the session she said:

Annika had a magical time with Santa! An hour-long session where she ate milk and cookies with Santa, painted toys, read the bible, found Santa’s home on the globe, had magic sprinkled into her hands and so much more. I was worried she would be afraid but Santa was so gentle and kind that she laughed, smiled, and engaged with him the entire session! It was a special memory that I will cherish always . I photographed a lovely couple in 2019. They appreciated that they were getting older and wanted recent photos for their family. They also realized that one of them would likely pass first. I shared the comfort that the photos of myself and my late husband gave me after I became widowed. The family contacted me after losing their mother in 2022. This was their response to seeing the rest of the images taken.

"I'm so happy you kept the photos of my Mom, Ann and her husband Neil. So happy we can have a beautiful photo of our Mom. ~Kristin~

What joy! This is our second session and they are so worth it! The boys love the sets. My serious little 2-year-old gets the biggest smile. The talked about their "Fishing Trip" Down by the Pond for days and they still want to come back to the Winter Wonderland. For them, this is magic in our world. It's beautiful.

And the fun! From the chaos of the kids being over-excited on the set to seeing Shelley's photos you are amazed - how does she do it?!
And how come it feels like I am seeing my boys all anew for the first time?

It's the joy in their eyes, the smiles they have for each other. The pictures catch it in a way that's perhaps been shielded from me shomehow - the love they have for each other. 

And seeing that, for me, has been an amazing gift.

This was the first photo session Jax had & he did amazing. I was so proud of him. He is normally very shy & cries if strangers talk to him. But with Shelley, Jax never batted an eye. They were so good with him. During the session, he never looked up wondering where I was! I was able to peek in and watch a bit and I knew it was going to be a hard decision to pick the best three.

Shelley is very professional. She is very quick to respond to emails which helped this experience as I have many questions. She even found the perfect outfit for him and captured the most amazing pictures. I cannot wait to get and share these pictures. Just seeing the results makes me so happy!

We had an amazing experience at the Enchanted Forest. From the beginning when Shelley opened the door dressed as a fairy. She was so good at explaining to the kids what they should do in a playful way and the assistant helped to keep the kids happy! We were so happy when we left. 

We just saw the presentation of all the pictures, and I was in tears because they are all so beautiful and magical. Shelley is doing a great job. It is so obvious that it really is a passion from the heart, not just a job.

We came back for another session after we loved our fishing pictures. The old barnyard theme seemed fitting since we come from a family of farming, horse racing and rodeo. Jax enjoyed his session as you can tell from the amazing photos that were created. He made a very cute cowboy. I could help but smile as I saw all the beautiful photos for the first time. The tough part is deciding which ones to have on my wall.

Thanks for the photos! Nice, Quick and entertaining for my short attention children. The Pirate Session perked their interest and they enjoyed playing with the treasure.

She is here my little newborn. All I do is change diapers, nurse, and rock her to sleep. I'm so tired and sleep deprived but at the same time so happy. It seems like it will always be like this. And then one day I woke up, still tired, but a little less, still nursing, still changing diapers, but my little human is now a one-year-old walking toddler. Where did the time go? Can I remember when she sat by herself for the first time? Can I remember when she first crawled? Can I remember her first smile, her first teeth, her first steps? 

Everything happened so fast! The Baby's First Year Program captured all these moments, even if a little blurry in my mind they are beautifully sharp in the spectacular portraits Shelley created! Thank You for helping me remember the most amazing year of my life.

WOW!! I don't know where to start I am so blown away. The pictures are stunning. I feel beautiful just looking at them. The session with Shelley was relaxing and it shows in my smile but more importantly, it is reflected in my eyes and together the feelings are magnified.

My heart is fluttering and I really sit here in wonderment at the sights and the music that played. Shelley your passion and care for me and your craft really is a gift and a snapshot of the present or maybe a glimpse of future things to come. I feel blessed.

I came to Shelley for a sorely needed confidence booster. The photoshoot itself did the trick! Shelley is so warm & made me feel so comfortable & beautiful. It was a wonderful day. 

but the photo review was amazing! I was nervous to see what the photos would look like. The slideshow presentation was such a beautiful touch & when the first photo came on the screen, I immediately burst into tears. They were stunning!!I never knew how truly beautiful I was. Shelley captured something in me that I never knew I had. 

This entire process has been one of the most uplifting experiences of my life. Thank you, Shelley. You have made me see that I am a sexy, beautiful & vibrant woman. I'll always walk with my head held high now.

This has been such an amazing experience for me. I turned 40 this past year, so I think doing a glamorous session with you was exactly the think anyone should do for a milestone birthday! I wish I had done this at 30 and 20!

It was after my Art of a Woman design session with Shelley that something inside of me started stirring. Together we came up with a few ideas of what I could explore in my feminity to bring together the many aspects of who I am.  I was so excited & equally nervous to express myself in a way I have never before experienced. From the beginning, Shelley made it so easy to feel into the moment. Her words gently guided me, on what to think about to bring out the expression and how to pose my body in an elegant way.

While watching my slideshow, I noticed I was quick to judge the things I do not like about my body. But as I let that go & allowed myself to see my expression, all the critical self-talk started to fade away. I could clearly see the beauty in my face, in the moment I was in, & that was powerful. To see myself as a confident woman is such an incredible gift.
